Job summary

Baptist Health in Northeast Florida is seeking a PRN Patient Access Representative II to support four outpatient clinics: Beaches, Seven Pines, and Point Meadows. This float role offers scheduling flexibility with no guaranteed hours and is ideal for candidates who want to cover shifts as needed.

You will register patients, update demographics, collect payments, and ensure HIPAA privacy while providing friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher is required.
• Experience in patient access or front desk is preferred.
• Ability to register patients and collect payments.
• Willingness to cover multiple clinic locations.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and update demographic and insurance information.
• Cross-train to work in multiple patient access areas.
• Collect co-payments and deposits.
• Provide face-to-face customer service and telephonic encounters.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Document and communicate in PAS system.
