Position Title: Patient Access Representative

Location: Olean General Hospital, Olean, NY

Shift: 2 – 3pm‑11pm, 3pm‑7pm, 7pm‑11pm, 11pm‑7am, 7am‑7pm

Responsibilities

• Assemble pre‑registration packets and handle paperwork for patients who have been scheduled and pre‑registered by scheduling.
• Enter complete demographics and insurance information into the computer system.
• Confirm insurance data by copying insurance cards and through online insurance benefit verifications to assure payment to the facility.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (business and computer skills preferred).
• Computer data entry experience with insurance background and customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of computers and typing ability.
• Excellent oral communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as a team and independently.

Working Conditions

Bi‑weekly: 15.00 hours; rotating weekend; on‑site; non‑Union; Union Code: N35.

Salary

$16.00 – $21.66 per hour, bi‑weekly pay. Wage determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and collective bargaining agreements.
