Job summary

Bradford Regional Medical Center in Bradford, PA, is seeking a detail-oriented Registration Clerk to handle outpatient, inpatient, ambulatory surgery and ER registrations with accuracy and speed.

You will enter complete demographics and insurance information, verify coverage, obtain signatures, route patients to the appropriate service areas, and collect co-pays when applicable, all while delivering courteous, patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Experience with data entry and insurance data is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Provides accurate and efficient outpatient, inpatient, ambulatory surgery and ER registrations. Entering complete demographics and insurance information into the computer system. Confirms insurance data by copying insurance cards and through online insurance benefit verifications to assure payment to the facility. Obtains necessary signatures and routes patient to appropriate service areas. Collects co-pays when appropriate.

Education And Credentials

High School graduate or equivalent.

Experience

Computer data entry with insurance background and customer service preferred. Knowledge of computers and typing ability; excellent oral communications and customer service skills; able to work in both a team environment and independently.
