Job summary

PRIA Healthcare Management LLC seeks a Patient Access Specialist to support reimbursement needs and facilitate patient access to technologies and procedures. This role engages with physicians, billing staff, hospitals, and ambulatory surgical centers to verify benefits, obtain prior authorizations, and process pre-service and post-service appeals.

The role emphasizes data entry, accurate record-keeping in Salesforce, and strict adherence to SOPs and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliant

Qualifications

• 2+ years of healthcare experience, preferably in authorization or billing.
• Understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage a case load for an assigned program.
• Data entry and review of new patient cases into system database.
• Communicate with physician’s office and their staff regularly.
• Maintain accurate records within Salesforce for reporting to clients.
• Complete full patient access process including benefits verification, prior authorization, and pre/post service appeals.
