Job summary

R1 is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Patient Registration at LifePoint Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. You’ll be the first friendly face patients meet and help navigate the registration process, answering questions with confidence and compassion while collecting accurate information in a fast-paced setting.

This PRN, part-time role requires open availability across days, evenings, and overnights, with rotating on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and vaccination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple computer systems to register patients efficiently
• Answer phones and gather information quickly and accurately
• Assist patients who may be ill, anxious, or confused
• Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details (with training!)
• Adapt to interruptions from clinical teams during urgent care situations
• Build rapport and ease patient concerns in real time
