Job summary

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is hiring a Patient Access Specialist-Registration to accurately process patient registrations, collect required data, and protect patient privacy. You will work closely with billing, coding, and other registration staff to ensure accuracy and smooth patient flow.

The role requires strong data entry skills, familiarity with EMR systems (EPIC preferred) and MS Office, and a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office, EMR systems (EPIC preferred), and multi-line phone system.
• Successful completion of data entry standard administered by CRMC Human Resources Staff.
• High School diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process patient registrations accurately and efficiently, ensuring all pertinent data is collected at the point of entry.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion and adhere to privacy protocols.
• Collaborate with billing, coding and other registration staff to enhance registration accuracy.
• Navigate high-stress situations and manage complex data under deadlines.
• Contribute to operational efficiency and patient satisfaction through effective communication.
