Job summary

Tenet Healthcare at Abrazo Central Campus seeks a Patient Access representative to support scheduling, registration, pre-admission and admission activities. You will collect demographic data, secure consent forms, and explain hospital procedures to patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in a Customer Service role.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred
• Some college coursework is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients, registering at date of service, and explaining hospital forms.
• Educates patients about financial liabilities and secures payments per policies.
• Verifies insurance, benefits, coverage and eligibility; obtains authorizations and coordinates post-discharge care as needed.
