Saint Francis Health System in Glenpool, OK seeks a part-time Revenue Cycle Patient Access Representative I to register patients for procedures and admissions, verify demographics and insurance, and explain financial responsibilities at the point of care.

You'll collaborate with clinical and service teams to ensure accurate data, smooth patient flow, and timely resolution of workqueue items, while delivering courteous service in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years customer service experience or one year in health insurance is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other applicable software; strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Registers patients for scheduled and unscheduled services in hospital registration systems.
• Verifies demographics and insurance information with accuracy.
• Explains patient financial liability and guides patients to payment options or financial programs.
• Collects and verifies insurance coverage; ensures accurate patient accounts.
• Acts as liaison between patient and facility to ensure smooth transitions.
• Prioritizes and processes workqueue items during downtime and ensures timely resolutions.
