Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years customer service experience or 1 year health insurance related experience preferred.
• Experience in hospital precertification and benefit/eligibility verification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Registers patients for scheduled and unscheduled services across hospital areas.
• Collects/verifies demographic and insurance information with accuracy.
• Verifies insurance coverage and ensures accurate representation on patient accounts.
• Documents in registration systems per standards and procedures.
• Obtains and provides required legal/compliance forms.
• Explains patient financial liability and guides to financial programs when appropriate.
