Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or higher required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• 1–2 years of registration and/or billing experience in healthcare preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication, detail orientation, organization, and multitasking skills required.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient scheduling and patient registration for all patients.
• Collect data, documents, and signatures to ensure hospital bills are paid.
• Serve as first point of contact for physician offices regarding scheduling procedures.
• Coordinate with external customers and internal departments to ensure smooth intake.
• Maintain accurate records and support billing and payer processes.
