Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia is hiring a Patient Access Rep. This Full Time role (40 hrs/wk) rotates through patient access areas, with a day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including weekends and holidays as needed by department.

You will greet and register patients, verify benefits, and collect financial responsibility when required. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalency and at least 1 year in insurance verification and hospital/customer service.

Formación

• HS diploma or equivalency required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in insurance verification and medical office/hospital customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Greet, pre-register and/or register patients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Verify insurance benefits and check for pre-certification/authorization/referral needs.
• Communicate revenue cycle issues to patients, physicians and staff; coordinate services.
