Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years billing, financial counselor, EMR or health care related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Outlook required.
• Flexibility to learn additional IT applications as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates care with referral sources and service sites to support patient flow.
• Maintains medical records and billing documentation for accuracy.
• Verifies patient benefits and coverage information as part of registration and billing.
• Ensures timely submission of billing procedures and compliance with third-party payors.
