Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking an associate to support non-clinical operations in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Under supervision, you will handle reception, scheduling, billing, insurance verification, data entry, and record keeping to ensure smooth clinic operations and positive patient experiences.

You will coordinate with providers and departments, maintain accurate records, and help with reports and clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Microsoft Office and Outlook basics.
• Strong customer/patient focus and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors; answer calls and screen inquiries.
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars; handle reschedules and cancellations.
• Verify insurance, assist with pre-authorizations, and maintain patient records in EPIC.
• Assist with billing, collections, and basic clerical duties as needed.
