Final salary will be determined based on factors such as role scope, experience, education, and internal equity. You will provide courteous, compassionate service to patients and families, schedule and register patients, protect privacy, and support patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, compassionate, and professional service to patients, families, visitors, physicians, staff across in-person and telephone interactions.
• Create a welcoming experience by actively listening, communicating clearly, managing expectations, and addressing routine questions or concerns.
• Protect patient privacy and handle sensitive information with discretion in accordance with confidentiality practices.
• Serve as a Greeter at Welcome kiosk locations and direct patients and visitors to the appropriate destination or resource.
• Schedule, pre-register, and register patients in person and by phone using Epic; enter, validate, and update demographics and medical history.
• Confirm appointment and registration information, identify missing data, and correct routine discrepancies.
• Collect and document copayments and other balances per procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow and coordinated experience.
• Coordinate bed placements and communicate patient status updates to minimize delays.
• Follow procedures for coordination of patient flow, escalation when needed, and use Epic and tools efficiently.
