Job summary

CoxHealth, a leading healthcare system serving 25 counties in southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas, seeks a clinic registrar to support Ferrell Duncan Clinic in Springfield. You will register patients, handle payments, and balance daily totals while floating to different clinics as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 1–2 years related experience, plus strong communication and computer skills. This is a day-shift, 40-hour position with benefits for 20+ hours/week.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task.
• Proficient in using computers and computer systems.
• Maintains knowledge of credit card payment transactions and uses required programs for registering and admissions.

Responsibilities

• Duties may include collecting money due, posting money collected, and balancing at day end.
• Photocopying, faxing, filing, answering telephones, and data entry.
• Registers all new patients and enters insurance information as needed.
• This position may float to various clinics and departments based on need.
