Responsibilities

• Ensures complete, accurate and timely entry of insurance information into legacy ADT system at the time of service or during pre-registration.
• Collects, enters and corrects required data with emphasis on demographic and financial information for appropriate reimbursement.
• Explains the Dignity Health Payment Assistance program and directs patients for further assistance when needed.
• Identifies forms for patient/guarantor signature and obtains signatures.
• Adheres to hospital credit card handling policies and protects all card information.
• Verifies insurance benefits prior to service to determine coverage and documents accurately.
