Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting or related area.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsabilités

• Registers patients with demographics and insurance information for medical records and billing.
• Verifies health insurance and completes pre-certification when necessary.
• Collects co-pays and manages daily cash activities with proper balancing.
• Answers phones, schedules appointments, and processes referrals in a courteous manner.
• Maintains confidentiality of medical records and correspondence.
• Coordinates admissions, bed assignments, and interdepartmental communications.
• Supports orientation and daily task delegation within the department.
• Monitors workflows and ensures timely data entry and accuracy.
