Job summary

OSS Health seeks a Registrar to efficiently process patient information and admissions in a fast-paced environment. You will greet patients, collect demographics and insurance data, and ensure accurate entry into medical records.

This role supports providers and other registrars with coverage and scheduling. Ideal candidates have medical billing knowledge, strong computer skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical and billing procedures preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume practice.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Team oriented and able to assist others as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in a professional, courteous manner.
• Registers patients for scheduled visits with the provider.
• Gathers and enters demographic and insurance information into the medical record.
• Verifies benefits and eligibility; scans IDs and insurance cards.
• Collects copays and outstanding balances from patients.
• Schedules appointments in E-superbill; assists team as needed.
