Qualifications

• Preferred Healthcare Experience.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Verifies patient information and ensures paperwork is completed and signed; updates demographics/insurance in the system.
• Maintains appointment scheduling, coordinates schedules, and handles appointment reminders.
• Collects patient co-pays and outstanding balances; balances daily payments.
• Serves as liaison between patient and medical support staff; communicates with insurance for referrals or scheduling.
• Checks out patients and schedules future appointments; maintains front desk and waiting area.
• Enters clinical information in EMR for assigned tasks; participates in Patient Centered Medical Home Team.
• Performs other duties as assigned by department.
