Job summary

The Muenster Hospital District is seeking a Registration Clerk to handle patient registrations for outpatient and inpatient services. You will answer calls, greet visitors, and collect/update billing information while coordinating with family members when needed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Typing speed of 45 wpm and operation of ten key adding machine/calculator.
• One year of experience working with the public preferred. Experience in a medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for outpatient and/or inpatient services for the hospital.
• Answer and accurately direct phone calls, greet and assist visitors, and collect/update patient information for billing.
• Accept patient payments and act as liaison with patient family members or responsible parties.
