Responsibilities

• Gathers information and inputs data in the registration process in a timely fashion.
• Registers patients in inpatient and outpatient admissions.
• Ensures required paperwork is signed by patient or guardian.
• Offers Oaklawn Privacy Practices and Patient Rights brochures.
• Verifies insurance coverage.
• Obtains and scans patient driver’s license and insurance cards.
• Balances cash receipts daily at point of service.
• Handles patient inquiries promptly and appropriately.
• Works in an office environment, may include Emergency Department registration.
• On-call shifts as applicable.
