Providence Covenant Children's Hosp is seeking a Patient Access Representative to assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for both scheduled and unscheduled visits. You will collect demographics, insurance details, and patient liability, and perform financial clearance as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months healthcare experience in a business office, hospital or medical office setting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Collect accurate demographic and insurance information, and determine patient liability at time of service.
• Perform financial clearance functions during registration downtimes on assigned accounts.
• Handle miscellaneous client services, including valuables collection and basic customer service.
• Greet patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner to promote positive encounters.
