• Minimum of two years registration experience in a medical office, including experience with insurance verification and patient collections.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for physician visits and labs in a timely manner.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance and any past due balances at time of service.
• Scan insurance cards, identification and updated forms into CPSI.
• Verify patient information is updated and insurance verified before seeing the physician.
• Answer calls and route messages in CPSI and Thrive systems.
• Balance cash drawer to receipts and prepare deposits.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with referrals or prior authorizations.
