Job summary

Responsibilities

• Registers and admits patients following policy and two identifiers.
• Ensure all patients are checked-in hospital systems.
• Collect and record patient demographics and financial information.
• Obtain required documents and scan at registration.
• Explain insurance benefits, policies, items and valuables.
• Collects and records patient payments and maintains ledgers.
• Verify insurance eligibility and confirm benefits.
• Obtain pre-certifications and authorizations as needed.
• Operate registration information systems and complete required fields.
