Responsibilities

• Interview the patient or representative to obtain patient demographics.

• Work closely with Admitting department including PBX operator function and reception areas.
• Operate a computer to input and retrieve data.
• Communicate with the population served using age-specific techniques.
• Maintain proficiency in medical terminology.
• Complete any special projects or assignments within a specified timeframe.
