Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Access Representative to register patients, verify benefits, collect co-pays, balance accounts, and enter data into the electronic health record (EHR).

Responsibilities include customer service, handling inquiries, and referring accounts to financial counselors for education on denials, payment plans, and options. Some shifts may include nights, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and contribute to patient satisfaction.
• Field calls and respond to patient/staff inquiries.
• Refer accounts to financial counselors for denials, coverage options, or payment plans.
• Balance daily cash, process deposits, and maintain cash logs.
• Pre-register, register, schedule, reschedule and discharge patients per guidelines.
• Lead PAR duties, train staff, and perform QA audits.
• Support process improvements and coverage needs including nights/weekends/holidays.
