Responsibilities

• Obtain demographic, billing, and insurance information and enter into registration and billing systems.
• Collect deposits, co-payments, and patient liability payments; provide receipts and document in system.
• Prepare armband and verify patient identification for procedures.
• Balance daily receipts and cash drawer; monitor system flags for follow-up.
• Obtain required signatures on consent forms and privacy notices; secure electronic consent as needed.
• Perform pre-certifications/authorizations where applicable.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel patient appointments per workflow.
• Verify order completeness and alignment with scheduled services.
