Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior hospital or physician practice experience preferred.
• Excellent computer skills and strong communication/customer service abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Completes patient registration and scheduling according to protocol.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and handles referrals/authorizations.
• Collects patient payments at check-in and manages cash accurately.
• Maintains accurate demographic data and accurate handoff of documents to clinical care teams.
• Ensures patient safety through proper ID checks and handling of PHI.
