Job summary

You will greet patients, collect information, educate on health plan options, and assist with enrollment, while contributing to an inclusive, team-based workplace that values health equity.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills including typing and data entry.
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients according to department protocols.
• Verify identity, demographics, and insurance information; collect fees and maintain financial records.
• Complete Sliding Fee Scale applications as needed.
• Educate patients on health plan options and assist with insurance enrollment.
• Process walk-in patients and enter information into EPM; manage paper flow for visits.
• Maintain recall lists and attend departmental meetings.
