Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Query EAD and enter patient demographics in computer system to obtain accurate patient medical record and account number.
• Communicate hospital collection policy and collect outstanding balances, deposits and POS payments.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations for payers requiring authorization.
• Verify Medicare diagnoses for compliance with guidelines and obtain ABN’s as necessary.
• Coordinate patient placement through bed control and scheduling processes.
