Responsibilities

• Registers patients for hospital services and collects copay and deductible amounts.
• Obtains necessary signatures at registration or arrival.
• Courteously answers the telephone and handles questions promptly.
• Identifies uninsured/under-insured patients and refers them to the Financial Counselor.
• Maintains positive relations with patients, staff and management to promote teamwork and a positive image.
• Performs duties as requested and adapts to a busy environment.
• Handles multiple tasks and maintains order in a high-traffic setting.
