Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Meets with patient and/or caregiver to exchange information, explain visit, and address questions.
• Verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-certification/authorization as necessary.
• Escort and transport patients within the facility, including wheelchair or oxygen needs.
• Determine and accept payments (co-pays, deductibles) or refer to financial counselors for follow-up; ensure demographic and billing data are entered accurately.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, applying critical thinking and decisive action.
