Job summary

You will verify insurance details, collect payments on-site and guide patients through financial counseling when needed.

The role requires strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes, with a preference for prior patient access hospital experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances.
• Patient access hospital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-registration of patient admissions.
• Obtain approvals and payments on site.
• Explain insurance and patient liabilities; refer patients for financial counseling.
• Enter/update patient demographics including insurance and patient liability; post payments and reconcile reports.
