Job summary

Trinity Health's Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford is seeking an Emergency Department patient access representative responsible for bedside registration, collecting copayments and gathering patient demographic and insurance information.

You will pre-register admissions, explain liabilities to patients and route to financial counseling as needed; responsibilities include entering/updating demographics and posting payments, with reconciliation reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances.
• Patient access hospital experience strongly preferred.
