Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients at workstations or bedside to obtain all necessary account information.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Ensure charts are completed and accurate.
• Verify insurance and obtain pre-certification/authorization.
• Calculate and collect patient liability amounts.
• Obtain necessary signatures for treatment.
• Process patient charts according to workflow and productivity standards.
• Gather identifying and demographical information from patients and relatives with insurance information.
• Assign Insurance Plans accurately.
• Verify benefits and status of pre-certification/authorization via Passport, online, or phone.
