RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Supervisor in the Emergency Dept Access Service at Main Hospital – New Brunswick to manage daily operations of patient access and registrations. You will lead a team, ensure accurate registrations, and uphold service standards.

The role requires leadership experience in patient access, knowledge of insurance verification and billing regulations, and a focus on throughput and customer service. It is a day shift, salaried position in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Knowledge of registration, insurance verification, and authorizations.
• Familiar with Federal and Non-Federal billing rules and Charity Care programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Patient Access operations and staffing.
• Ensure accurate registrations and timely patient throughput.
• Coach staff on registrations, KPIs, and compliance.
• Review system alerts and address registration errors.
• Provide on-call support for urgent issues.
