Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years in patient access, hospital registration or related role.
• Experience in senior/lead capacity within patient access.
• Exposure to ED registration, main registration, admitting or related workflows.
• Strong understanding of insurance verification and financial clearance processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time oversight and workflow coordination for patient access across hospital areas.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and area coverage to support patient flow and service standards.
• Escalate and resolve complex registration, insurance, and financial issues promptly.
• Perform complex patient registration, insurance verification, and financial clearance as needed.
• Communicate patient financial responsibility and payment options to patients as appropriate.
• Coach and support Patient Access Representatives, Financial Counselors, and Eligibility staff.
