Job summary

Boys Town is seeking a patient access professional to support Lincoln Clinic with scheduling, pre-registration, registration, admitting and financial counseling. You will verify demographics and insurance, inform patients of out-of-pocket liabilities, and help secure payment upfront or via referrals to Financial Counselors.

Qualifications

• Ability to verify demographics and insurance benefits accurately.
• Strong communication with patients, families and staff.
• Experience with pre-registration, registration, and admissions processes.
• Familiarity with cost estimates and patient financial responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and screen patients, families, vendors and visitors professionally.
• Obtain and communicate eligibility, benefits, and pre-authorization details.
• Perform pre-registration, registration/check-in and admission coordination.
• Collect co-payments and process payments; assist with daily deposits as directed.
• Communicate with care teams and translate scheduling and financial needs.
• Provide referrals to Financial Counselors for self-pay or aid programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in appropriate systems.
