Intuitive Health is seeking a Patient Access Advocate to join our full-time, mid-shift team at the Intracoastal facility. This role centers on greeting patients, registering visits, collecting payments, and ensuring accurate demographic, insurance, and billing data.

The Patient Access / Front Office Associate focuses on welcoming patients, facilitating timely registration, and coordinating with clinical staff to maintain smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new technology and systems.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Register new patients and update demographic, insurance, and billing information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits and collect copays, deductibles, and payments.
• Facilitate patient flow by notifying clinical staff of arrivals, delays, and changes.
• Answer phones and route calls; provide information as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain front desk, waiting areas, and general reception duties.
