• Create a positive first impression while greeting patients for registration.
• Demonstrate professional telephone etiquette for calls.
• Interview patients for Direct Admissions, Outpatient services, and other procedures.
• Perform accurate data entry of patient demographics and insurance information.
• Notify insurance companies of admissions and outpatient services.
• Obtain and witness signatures for insurance assignments and guarantor statements.
• Ensure timely data entry and changes to patient information.
• Quality assurance—review registration data for accuracy and delinquent records.
