To support the growth in our Patient Access Department at TGH Imaging, we have a career opportunity available as a PATIENT ACCESS MANAGER - SCHEDULING located in sunny Tampa, Florida.

Summary:

The Patient Access Manager- Scheduling will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the scheduling and registration teams to ensure seamless patient access to care. Managing daily workflows, staff performance, and resources to achieve department goals and delivering exceptional patient service. The Manager will have expertise in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and play a key role in designing and optimizing telecommunications systems, call flows, and scheduling strategies. The position also involves ongoing performance monitoring, workflow evaluation, and resource planning to support the operational efficiency of the department.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday. Saturday mornings as needed.

TGH Imaging was established in 1994, formerly known as Tower Radiology, is one of the largest outpatient radiology practices in West Central Florida, with 21 locations in four counties. The new name marks Tampa General Hospital's complete purchase of Tower Radiology, expanding its statewide outpatient sites to 84, including primary care, urgent care, rehab, cancer care, surgery, and imaging.   • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in patient access, scheduling, or call center operations, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech).
  • Preferred: Six Sigma, Project Management, Kaizen, Lean, Agile, Epic, Data Analysis, PDCA
  • Demonstrated experience in performance analytics, workflow improvement, and resource management.
  • Experience with call center technology, telephony platforms, and call flow design.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
