Qualifications

• 3+ years in a medical front office or healthcare customer service role.
• Experience with Medicaid/Medicare and commercial insurance eligibility verification.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach team members.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, train, and mentor Patient Access team members.
• Provide ongoing education and coaching on registration workflows and policies.
• Develop and maintain training materials and SOPs.
• Conduct competency assessments and give feedback to staff.
• Answer workflow questions and escalate concerns as needed.
• Monitor registration processes and implement workflow improvements.
• Record, analyze and report operational data to leadership.
• Provide cross-coverage support to other clinics as needed.
• Register patients and verify demographics, insurance, and eligibility.
