Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago is seeking a Lead Associate in Patient Access within the Therapy Department. The role focuses on smooth patient flow, accurate registration, and prompt patient collections during an 8-hour shift, with occasional 6pm finishes twice a week.

The Lead Associate will oversee breaks, support the Supervisor in workload management, and serve as a policy resource while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining department standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Extensive knowledge of Patient Access.
• CHAA certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proven leadership and management abilities.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong prioritization ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to multitask under pressure.

Responsibilities

• The Lead associate ensures smooth patient flow, quality registration, and maximum Point of Service patient collections.
• Coordinates breaks and lunch times to ensure coverage.
• Assists Supervisor in managing volume fluctuations to meet productivity expectations.
• Serves as a resource on department policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance and completion of daily duties.
• Sets the example in customer service and professional conduct.
