Responsibilities

• Register and obtain demographic, financial, and clinical information for financial clearance.
• Contact patients' families or offices to obtain missing insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and notify if eligibility fails.
• Coordinate with scheduling to identify add-on patients.
• Obtain authorizations, pre-certifications, referrals.
• Notify patients of liabilities and collect funds.
• Maintain accurate records in the system of record.
• Lead resource for lower level Patient Access Representatives.
• Recommend process improvements to leadership.
• Adhere to policies and safeguard assets.
