Job summary

Druid City Infusion is seeking an Intake Coordinator to manage patient intake, collect medical and insurance information, and deliver exceptional service. You will work with patients, providers, and pharmacy teams to ensure a smooth intake and accurate records using CareTend or EMR systems.

Ideal candidates have healthcare administration experience, strong communication, and meticulous organizational skills, with knowledge of ICD-10/ICD-9 coding and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Patient intake and referral information processing with ICD-10/ICD-9 knowledge.
• Demographic and medical history collection; assess home infusion needs.
• Coordinate with providers for prescriptions and treatment plans.
• Verify insurance details and communicate coverage and out-of-pocket costs.
• Serve as primary contact for new patients and guide them through intake.
• Maintain records using CareTend or EMR systems, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
