Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field
• Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain within 120 days
• Knowledge of ICD-10/HCPCS coding and medical terminology
• Experience in healthcare administration or patient intake
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with EHR/PHM software and HIPAA compliance

Responsibilities

• Process patient intake and referral information with ICD-10/ICD-9 knowledge
• Gather demographics, medical history, and home infusion needs
• Coordinate with providers to obtain prescriptions and documentation
• Verify patient insurance details and communicate coverage status
• Serve as primary contact for new patients and guide them through intake
• Collaborate with pharmacy teams to ensure timely medication processing and delivery
• Maintain accurate records in CareTend or EMR systems
• Ensure documentation complies with privacy regulations and policies
