Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients or representatives to obtain demographics.
• Secures insurance information, eligibility, benefits and authorizations as applicable.
• Works with Admitting department including PBX operator and reception areas.
• Operates a computer to input and retrieve data.
• Communicates with patients using age-appropriate approaches.
• Maintains proficiency in medical terminology.
• Undertakes special projects as assigned with deadlines.
