Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking a Patient Access/Revenue Cycle support role to perform Medicare compliance reviews, estimate patient financial responsibility, verify insurance, and register patients for services.

The role requires strong customer service skills, knowledge of HIPAA, and experience with EMR systems. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, with weekend day shifts and opportunities to contribute to a compassionate health ministry.

Qualifications

Associate degree preferred
High School Grad or Equiv required
1+ year experience in customer service preferred
1+ year in healthcare revenue cycle preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Strong knowledge of insurance concepts and benefits

Responsibilities

Perform Medicare compliance reviews and issue medical notices as needed
Estimate patient financial responsibility and collect payments or arrange payment plans
Coordinate with utilization management and pre-authorization processes
Verify eligibility and benefits with insurance companies
Register patients for services and verify demographic/insurance details
Directly support PBX and cashiering tasks when required
Provide excellent customer service and document all conversations accurately
Maintain communication between clinical, ancillary, and access departments
