Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• 1+ year of customer service in healthcare preferred.
• Experience with revenue cycle processes preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Comfortable handling patient financial information with HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform Medicare compliance reviews and prepare cost estimates for patient responsibility.
• Input patient data accurately and verify insurance details.
• Coordinate with utilization management for pre-authorization issues.
• Collect payments or set up payment plans, and cashiering as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and document all conversations with patients and insurers.
