The University of Miami is seeking a full-time Patient Access Representative 1 to join the on-site team at our LENNAR location. You will register patients, verify insurance and collect payments, coordinating with the UHealth system to ensure smooth service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and strong data-entry and communication skills, with discretion handling confidential information.

Responsabilidades

• Registers patients for clinical services and verifies insurance benefits.
• Collects payments and explains consent forms and HIPAA.
• Obtains insurance cards, IDs, and referrals as needed.
• Schedules appointments and manages no-shows and cancellations.
• Answers calls and assists with inquiries or transfers as needed.
